You are requested to furnish a no objection certificate from your department, that they have no objection in your submitting this application to this Corporation for consideration of an award.

Our experts are not convinced that this method is simpler than the two methods in use. Besides it is felt that the cost would be also high and it may not be an economical proposition unless large number of samples are to be analysed at quick intervals. The actual experimental data obtained to show the comparative performance between this apparatus and the existing methods has not been given.

It is therefore, requested that this additional data may be provided. Practical trials may be conducted and the performance report duly certified by the Director, Hydrology Deptt. may also be furnished.

I was required to get the performance report certified from my department whereas my department was not willing to be the part of this exercise. 

Found working during 1999 !

I never worked for prize or award but was too eager to know the reality of my logics. It was a hobby and not a business. Due to limited resources and without any workshop facilities I was not in a position to develop the prototypes for my ideas.  

But, for the above mention invention, I was completely astonished, during my official tour to National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee (INDIA) during 1999, when I could see a foreign acquired instrument that was working on the same principle of mine.
